John’s Pizza is a huge, indoor theme park-style place with all-you-can-eat buffet style food. We’ve found that for your money, it’s hard to beat a visit to John’s. A comparable day of fun can cost you 4x what you’ll pay at John’s after you pay for parking, food, and admittance. This does not include transportation cost, which obviously varies.
Given John’s is indoors, you can use the facility year-round. Many people think the weather in California is always nice but that is hardly the case. We deal with very cold days, hot days, smoky days during fire season, intense winds and of course, rain. When it does rain here, it’s often consistent and for a number of days. It’s during these times that the kids get cabin fever so it’s nice to have a spot where they can let loose a bit.
John’s locations are rather diverse in their offerings. We’ve been to a number of kids birthday parties at John’s. This application is quite obvious but what most people don’t know is that they also offer venues for corporate parties, after hours parties and even lock-in parties, which are perfect around the New Year. The cost of John’s for one of these events is low compared to competitor offerings. Plus they offer private, closed-door rooms that are great for corporate presentations that need privacy. Later the doors can be opened so employees can let loose a bit and have fun.
The food is a buffet style all-you-can-eat. Included is a salad bar, pasta bar, huge pizza selection and dessert bar. The selection of fountain drinks, coffee and tea come at a nominal extra charge. Beer and wine are available but there is a 2 drink maximum during standard hours. Obviously this policy is different for after hours, and private parties. Call your local John’s for details.
