Interacting with your customers>light, virtual content
The internet hasn’t really been around all that long. We started our first web company in 1997, a year after Amazon started. I remember back then how things that are easy today were so complex and costly.
The biggest gains have probably been in connection speeds. Many people (or most people) now have high speed connections. This quick evolution allowed developers to go crazy and create all types of “neat” things for the internet. Unfortunately for a business, “neat” rarely translates in to sales.
We visit site after site that is heavily developed in flash where it is obvious the developers somewhere along the line forgot that the end product was supposed to communicate a message and information. Ultimately, these sites are supposed to sell goods and services for the companies.
Flash and other media are fantastic and they have their place, but it should not always be the core of promoting most businesses on the web.
Customers need real information. They like to read information about a business, typically from a third party, but they also need to interact with the business without the message getting lost.
Business interactive panoramas are a creative idea that originated from special photography techniques. These techniques have displayed some of the most beautiful structures and places in the world. Now, they can help your customers interact with your business.
Interactive panoramas are ideal for any business that wants to not only communicate the atmosphere but also the goods and services they have to offer.
Applications range from restaurants that want to show off their interior and special dishes to complete malls (indoor or outdoor). In the outdoor mall application, a customer would be able to view all of the stores on a particular street to see what the mall had to offer. A customer could then enter a particular store of interest and view specific clothing items, coupons and specials.
This example uses an art gallery. Click on the paintings.
These new interactive panorama applications are “light” meaning they are easy to view and embed in text content. They also provide a tremendous opportunity for your business to interact with customers.
While panning through a restaurant, for example, a customer could see and interact with specific dishes, the menu or even gain happy hour information while panning past the bar. This interactive information can change as the menu changes.
In a clothing store application, new views can be taken to reflect seasonal clothing and specials. A mall might change content to reflect holiday activities and specials for Mother’s Day and Christmas.
Interactive business panoramas are perfect when embedded with a piece of dynamic text content as the delivery system. They are also ideal for company sites.
Interactive business panoramas are now offered with our focus group and case study content distribution.

Search engine placement has changed drastically since our case study with Google in 2004. The problem with the vast majority of marketing is that it is not only too expensive but it also doesn't work. Alpha Six's methods are radically different, an avant-garde approach that not only brings business to our vendors but also eliminates the confusion of on-line search results.
