I love Spring Break! School is out for a week and the days are starting to get longer. Outdoor activities should be on the rise but the rain has kept us in lately.
I’m always on the lookout for fun things to do with the kids in Stockton. Staying fairly close to home is important to me because of the lagging economy. And since we’re not planning a Spring vacation this year, we want to make sure the kids don’t get bored and have some good experiences and create some lasting memories.
There are many things to do in Stockton. However, even with all of these great and some free activities, we need to get out of the weather and find something fun to do indoors where it is warm and dry. With more rain coming, we’re looking for an indoor retreat. When the kids were younger we loved taking them to Chuck E Cheese. That would be more fun for our youngest, but the 8 and 9 year olds need something more geared to their age group.
We have found a place that has something to suit each age group and all of it is indoors. John’s Incredible Pizza Co. is a welcome alternative and has everything you need for a fun day out and holidays like Easter break. You can even make a daycation out of it. Pretty much all you’ll need to bring are the kids. John’s has a wide variety of food to eat and activities that will engage kids of all ages (Moms and Dads, too). Even their amusement park style rides are indoors! Some of the rides are geared toward smaller children, so your toddler can be included.
Here’s what we love about John’s Incredible Pizza and why we think it’s great for holidays:
We’ll say this is the best food set up for kids and adults anywhere. John’s offers and all-you-can-eat buffet of pizza, pasta, salad and desserts. For each category they offer many toppings, flavors, combinations and choices. The kitchen is constantly bringing out hot pizza while replenishing the salad and pasta bar. Beverages are all-you-can-drink with an additional cost of $1-2.
John’s is unique in that it is completely indoors but offers the fun of outdoor style rides and things to do. Our two favorite traditional rides are the tea-cups and the bumper cars
. We mix up the ride fun by playing video and other games. The great part is when the kids get hungry from all the play, you just walk back over to the food side and fill up again. This is one reason why John’s is perfect as an all-day activity for the kids.
A Break for the Parents: John’s is a very active environment, but they still offer quiet seating for dining in their multiple themed rooms. The themes range from cartoons to music videos and one with a more log cabin feel, which is intended to be the most quiet of the bunch. They also offer beer and wine with a 2 drink limit.
If you’ve never been to a John’s it’s probably hard to imagine what it looks like inside. You can check it out here.

School will be out soon for kids as Easter approaches. Beyond all of the kids activities a parents needs to plan for this break you also should think about birthday parties and other events as the end of the school year really isn’t that far off either.
Make the event fun and memorable by selecting a place for kids that they’ll enjoy for at least 3 hours. This can provide the parents with a much needed break particularly when the kids are home for an extended period like the Easter holiday.
We’ve been to John’s to celebrate holidays, birthday parties and for fun things to do with the kids. We have yet to do one of their lock-in events where you can rent out the facility after hours but that’s definitely on the to-do list for one of our fun days. We also know that they offer corporate events with large private rooms and haven’t tried that one yet either but are anxious to do so.
If you haven’t been to John’s Pizza yet it’s unique in how there’s an all-you-can-eat buffet of pizza (many different toppings), pasta bar, salad bar
and yes, an all-you-can-eat dessert bar, which includes soft serve ice cream among other sweet treats. This set up guarantees that most everyone in your party will find something they like. On the drink menu they offer a variety of soft drinks but also beer and wine, which has a 2 drink limit.

Although most will think an all-you-can-eat buffet is fun enough, there’s the other half of John’s, the Fun World game room. This room includes rides like the twister
, bumper cars, indoor glow golf, bowling, video games, motion rides, air hockey and a multitude of other activities to keep everyone busy having fun until it’s time to regroup.
When Spring break rolls around we think John’s Incredible Pizza in Roseville is a great option!

Fun Things To Do – Riverside Spring Break – John’s Pizza Review

Fun Things To Do – Riverside Spring Break – John’s Pizza Review

All-You-Can-Eat
One of my favorite things to do is to review fun places for kids. It seems like we’ve been to them all from bounce houses, Chuck E Cheese, arts and crafts places and of course, Disneyland. They all offer something a little different so it really depends on what you’re looking for and what your budget is but for us, if we had to pick a single place to have a birthday or other fun event, it would be John’s Incredible Pizza in Riverside.
For Spring break it’s just a great option given the kids will be out of school for a full week and the weather has been less than cooperative this El Nino season. If I had to pick a single reason to go to John’s over other options, I really couldn’t because it’s more the combination of what they have to offer and how it fits for us.
John’s will charge you for an all-you-can-eat buffet, a very reasonable price. The options are many with a huge variety of pizzas, pasta and salads as well as a complete dessert bar. You won’t leave John’s hungry. And should you need a little more to tide you over during play, you can always head back to the buffet for more.
When it comes to fun, the variety is equivalent to that in the buffet. From arcade-style games to indoor golf and even park-style rides, there’s something for everyone. If you’ve never been to John’s and you’re curious as to what fun things they have, take an interactive look. This new interactive tool is really the best way to see what John’s has to offer. Be sure to check out the individual eating areas as those are one of our favorite aspects of John’s.
If cost is an issue for you, know that John’s is far cheaper than some of the alternative fun places for kids plus remember that it’s all-you-can-eat so you can stay all day without additional cost for food.

Search engine placement has changed drastically since our case study with Google in 2004. The problem with the vast majority of marketing is that it is not only too expensive but it also doesn't work. Our methods are radically different, an avant-garde approach that not only brings business to our vendors but also eliminates the confusion of on-line search results.
